Default (PICS) Blue & Ruff

We had a fairly decent Grouse and Dove hunt this last weekend. 4 Ruffs, 4 Doves and a decent Blue. With the arrival of cooler and wetter weather, most of the doves up here have headed south.

Here' s a pic of Casey and me with the Blue.

Here' s a comparison of an average size Ruff (1 lb or so) and the Blue. Although the Blue was only a juvenile, he was fairly decent size (2.5 lbs).

Nice pictures Doc E.
My wife & I also grouse hunt. We mainly hunt blue' s, we like the bigger birds & the country they live in is awesome. My wife & I have gone out three time this year for blues. We have been having some great hunting. I am also working with my 1-year & 3-month old golden retriever named Tana. She is work great & is always wanting to please.
Hope you can get your wife hooked like I got mine hooked?

Good luck hunting
