Montana Antelope

Hey guys,
Maryland hunter here. Recieved confirmation for a 900 series license today and it will be my first trip out there. My buddy lives in Lolo and I'll be flying out there to hunt August 22nd till the 26th. We are planning on stalking on public land. Our initial plan is to hunt along the Little Blackfoot off of 12 or somewhere else over in 3 . Someplace we can make the 1 30-2 hour drive each day. Is it worth it? or should we head further east and try to camp? Not looking for hotspots just general information if there is a decent population to hunt. Also, how are the ranch owners as far as gaining permission?
Thanks,
Matt

There have been some pretty good die-off's in the east side of the state. Your best bet is to call the region headquarters where you are interested in hunting. Permission to hunt antelope is usually a little easier to get than other game.
