Idaho drop camp
I tring to put together a trip to north idaho for fall 2004. I think I would like some type of combo hunt for elk/WT deer or bear. I would like to find an outfitter or local person that would pack us in and provide a drop camp in a good area. Dont really care about having a guide but a cook would be a plus. I would try a do it your self deal but 2700 miles is a long way to haul horses. I' m still in the planning stages so any advice would be great.

RE: Idaho drop camp
Have you heared about the Snake River Hunting Club. They are located near Cambridge Idaho. They are currently having an auction for a bull tag right now. You should check out the internet site http://www.hunting-fishing-guides.co...t.asp?rid=1220
I can verify that there are some very big bulls in the area. I happened to have killed a couple

RE: Idaho drop camp
tellico,
there is a guy on www.accuratereloading.com under the general hunting forum that advertises inexpensive drop camps in N Idaho.
You may want to go over there and check it out.
Right now he has a drop camp in a two bear area for $600.
You may be able to combine with some other things, worth a look I guess..
