My strategy when I first moved to CO was to put in for points for deer, elk, antelope and sheep. I then gotover the counterbull tags and picked up leftover tags whenever possible.You definitely want to build points for anything you plan to hunt. After a couple of years you will get to know some areas and will have a better idea of where to spend the points you've earned.Might want to forget the ATV's as well. My entire elk hunting strategy revolves around hunting the pockets where ATV's DONT go.
