Any tips and guide advice appreciated. We are going self guided and looking for pointers.

I had good success 1st rifle 1988-1991. I took 2 bulls and had 2 friends that each took a bull. 2 years ago I returned for archery elk. I had one cow in shooting range and also had a bull walk toward the trail I was sitting. In Yampa I take 7 to nf 900. Once I cross the cattle guard into the national forrest I park, cross the river on the right. Walk toward the mountain and you will find a trail leading up the hill. I usually hunt close to the private land as hunters often push the elk in that direction. I will be there for muzzleloader this year. Good Luck!
