Win. .30-06

Any one of those 3 will work fine. I'm partial to the 7mm Rem Mag, but I'd say take whichever gun you shoot best with, and maybe take along the gun you shoot 2nd best with as a back-up.

I like the 7mm mag for open country.

as said already, all great guns...all will do the job..shoot the gun that your most comfortable with...and have ZERO flinch with...KNOW the load, and you will connect...

when shoot distances in a canyon, lots of varieties in wind happen...so make sure you watch wind through teh shot pattern...but for me this is minimal issue as I have never shot an animal over 150 yards...but lots of peope like to talk about shooting big distances out west...

personal favorite calibers are .280 and .300 win mag...but your calibers will all do well..personally woudl stay away from 30-06 with heavier bullets as trajectory can be sacrificed but once again, the distance is the key...

Just did a combo elk / deer hunt in northwest Montana in November. 7mm for the open country and .44 mag Ruger SBHHfor the timber. It turned out that I shot my buck in some open country at 320 yrds. Glad I had 7mm!!

What I took.

1. Ruger M77 7mm rem mag. Fed 160 gr. tsx.
2. Winchester .30-06, Fed 180 gr. tsx. ( back up )
3. Ruger super blackhawk hunter .44 mag. 7 1/2 inch barrel. fed 300 gr. castcore.

Have fun,and good hunting.

7mag or 300mag should do everything you want.
