Wally World seems to be a favorite for purchasing Licenses... Strange that the WW here doesn't even carry spring turkey hunting equipment. Does anyone else's carry spring turkey equipment? This kind of bugs me seeing how Kmart DOES carry the stuff, but it doesn't look like they will be around much longer. With everyone purchasing tags, you would think a lightbulb would go on... What the heck do I know anyways, I'm a computer systems guy... Oh well, cross my fingers for Kmart to stick around a bit.

Yup..proud owner.....how just have to get it delievered. Not bad here this week-end...at least I got some raking done.....but don't think I'm gonna be able to burn the field's this year....not enough snow pac near the timber line......Have ya decided when your coming over yet..??

Slee - I guess my favorite critters to hunt are deer, bear, elk, upland birds, and most recently turkey. Still a virgin with turkeys. This will be my third year trying so hopefully in a month or so I will be able to announce that is no longer the case.

Nascar88 - Let's see, like my post indicated, I currently live in Normandy Park. For those of you that don't know, it is about 3 miles due west of SeaTac airport. I grew up in Aberdeen on the coast. Went to WSU and graduated from there in '85. I'm 40, married and no children. I love to hunt and fish but work gets in the way more than I like.

Wayne1 - Well, there is a story. It's not all that interesting though. In '92 I went on an Alaska moose hunt with three others. It was an annual hunt for two in the group and they had a tradition of handing out nicknames to everyone based on things we either said or did during the hunt. Seems I spotted all the moose we harvested so someone commented on my good eyes. After that I was dubbed Moose Eyes. I decided to use it as a handle in some of the hunting forums I frequent. So if you see that name elsewhere, it is probably me.

WE WENT TO THE TROUT LAKES NEAR THE HOUSE THERE ISN'T A LIMIT, BECUASE YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR WHAT YOU CATCH, WE SPENT ABOUT 45 BUCKS FOR ALL THE FISH. IT WAS FUN, THE WEATHER WAS NICE, FOR A CHANGE HOWS THE WEATHER IN YOUR NECK OF THE WOODS????

Evening all. I went out scouting for birds today, sort of. I rode the roads learning the lay of the land. I patterned my gun, which I see now I need to buy a turkey choke instead of the factory full tube I've been using because I only got 4 in the head and neck at 40yrds with Win. 3&quot; HV #5s. When I did stop to walk down a road to scout, my hunting partner heard my front tire leaking. Yes, I had battled a rock and lost.<img src=icon_smile_angry.gif border=0 align=middle> So instead of walking a road to look for tracks, I changed my front tire. And there is nowhere in Centralia to get a flat fixed on Sunday afternoon. Such is life. It was good to get out though. Maybe next time I'll find Tom.<img src=icon_smile_approve.gif border=0 align=middle>

robb - sounds like some dandy trout, if your e-mail is working let me show you a couple we pulled out of the local pond here. story has it there is still an 8 and 15 lb in this pond. after seeing the fish come out of here, i dont dought it for a minute.
