Thanks Wayne. I don't get too excited about post numbers anymore. Especially after the last few disappearances of posts. 2 steps forward, and 1 step back. I just like to run my mouth, or fingers, anyway. The status is a bonus. Y'all have a good evening.

Just curious, does anyone hunt yotes with dogs out here. Back in MS, we would run yotes during the off season to keep our hounds in shape for deer season. Now I haven't run yotes with hounds since probably 1986, but I don't hear anyone talking about chasing coyotes with hounds out here. Is it not very effective, or what? I'd figure it would be a good way for houndsmen to keep their dogs in shape for control hunts for cougars.

Black Lab - The did originally ban it all, but when the cats started eating pets and such people started screaming. To help the very idiots that voted this ban in they allow special hunts in certain areas for hounds. Unfortunately, the loudest voice gets relief. The old farmer who lets me hunt his land for turkeys has lost a couple horses, and the farm adjacent to his has lost quite a lot of livestock. Unfortunately they are spread out and too few to make a loud enough noise to lift the ridiculous ban everywhere.
Oh... on a side note. That survey that WDFW put out has the results in... you can find the results here http://www.wa.gov/wdfw/wlm/game/hunter/scoping.htm
Actually turned out to be an interesting read. Let me know what ya'all think.
