What is up w/all this snow????? We got it in Snohomish county and it is the first day of spring! The passes have been closed since yesterday<img src=icon_smile_sad.gif border=0 align=middle>. Hope this stuff clears up and warms up soon. April 15th is right around the corner.
Just a reminder to anyone that hunted last year... Make sure you go on-line or phone in your harvest report whether or not you got a deer, turkey, or elk... they won't give you a license until this is done. Don't wait until the last minute either - the modem lines will have a harder and harder time as the season gets closer, and if you wait until the day before, you might just be SOL.

i sure hope my bro-in-law kept his old licence.
it went to a screen for purchasing after i filed, i have no intention of buying on line. how do the walmarts of the state know if you did this or not.?

They know because of the licensing system they implemented last season... that thing dials directly into the WDFW database... if your number comes up w/a flag... you don't get your license until you tell them either you got something, didn't get something, or didn't even hunt something... if that makes sense. I just struck me after I had filled out my harvest report that they say this only applies to those who purchased deer tags, elk tags, or turkey tags... then a lightbulb went off in my head and said "Wait a minute, they gave a turkey tag WITH the small game license - so EVERYONE would have to fill this thing out"... I wonder if they implemented last year's system with this kind of thing in mind... don't know if I should be worried about it or not.
