I'm fairly new to this site...from Maple Valley. A few weeks before deer season last year I tore up my shoulder and had surgery. Did it learning to shoot a compound bow. I was so depressed I went into hiding for a while. I just got my mount back from the 2005 season and all of a sudden I'm PUMPED! Can't wait until the coming season...it's on my mind constantly. Colville was very good to me in 2005. I'll post photos soon. Richard

Must be time to brush off the spotllight and go looking for coyotes and bobcats (cats still open?). If nothing else, get out after the song dogs.
Been bitter cold here last couple weeks (0 degrees at night) so spotlighting at night = not fun. Warming up though so soon!

How much snow do you guys have? we have had total 3 inches this whole year. The weather here sucks!!! Either is 90 degree with 100 percent humidity or its cold with 30 mph winds.

Can't speak for the rest of the state, but we've had snow here on the wet side 4 different times with 2 of them sticking around for over a week or more. Not to mention record rain and windstorms. No ski area in the world has more snow right now than Mt Baker.

Not that anybody missed me but I've been out of the loop for the last two years. But I'm back and ready to stick something. I'm going to pull out all of my gear this weekend and go over it. I hope my bow made it through the move. I need to get out that and start driving the roads and walking the trails.
