Works been a bear - - - but I have gotten a chance to do a little dove hunting.
(Man those suckers are hard to hit !)

Yeah, we didn't get a chance to go anywhere this summer. But, Marie and I want to stop by some time in the fall and say

Hey kirk, well lets see weekly critter update. saw a big sow with a very small cub Thur. They were up the Chewuch, I almost shoot her but I spotted the cub at the last minute. Friday I saw a nice brown one up Twisp river, but I was working and had no gun. The last couple of bears I've seen were between 30 to 50 yrds away.
Now as far as deer, still seeing alot around even after archery season open. Friend of mine got a real nice 5x5 whitetail opening day. I've past up some so so bucks so far.

heres one for you, had a decent sized blacke bear try to climb in my tree with me while I was over at Wayne1's place a couple of weekends ago.

Man what a thrill huh? I"d have my self climber in high gear[:-] Porbably a little scary especially using a bow....YIKES!
