Getting ready to head out next week for elk. Any one hunting unit seven near Douglas? How about a report on the elk.

nver hunted area 7, but there sure are alot of good bulls taken there every year. all i know is watch your boundries. lots of private inter mixed. and some of those land owners will charge a arm and a leg. like $2000.00+ if you are caught on their land.

thanks for the input - But I will be hunting a private ranch and my outfitterhired the land owner as my guide. So I guess he should know where his property is. If not, he'll be the one paying the $$.
