Default Sangre de Cristo Mtns

im goin elk archery this year there and this is my first time out of state hutning elk never even seen a live elk yet im goin with my uncle and his buddy who lives there and i wanted to knwo if anyone has ever hutned there and hwo it is

Never hunted the Sangre de Cristos but I did backpack nearby as a boy scout. The country is beautiful, you're gonna love it. Can be steep and rocky in some areas but that will just add to the adventure. Have fun.
