Anybody ever hunted for cranes? I read about it in a recent issue of Fld.& Str. Sounds interesting. Any advice, info, recipes, stories, websites?

"BIG BIRD" Be sure to use a full steel choke or mod lead. We bring em down with bbb or Ts out here. Soak em in milk for 24 hrs in the fridge. Smoke em for about 10 hrs or put em on the bbq. On the bbq wrap them in foil and through in a few sclices of pineapple. O--------baby you might never go back to sex again. Well you might. GOOD LUCK

they are good to eat but they are a dangerous bird. Before you let your dog loose make sure the bird is dead. These birds have been known to kill dogs. We usually shot them while goose hunting.
