What a bust!!!!

Default What a bust!!!!

Today was the opener for the North Carolina Season and it was ruff the winds were blowing about 25-30mph and all the ducks stayed around the houses on the lake. and the people who did get shots were mainly sky bustin but the up side i seen about 100-150 mallards

Well with luck it should get better for ya, my opener sucked also, but it been getting good up here!

sorry to hear that ...... woulda been a great time to get out there and scout .... on windy days like that birds will search out areas that break the wind ... highbanks, heavy treelined shores, etc ......find those areas and remember them for days like ya had (highwinds) and ya will be there waitin for em next time ....i wish ya luck .... be safe

My opener in October sucked as well. Same thing that happened to you. Had 25-35 mph winds. Managed to get 2 ducks in the whole day.
