Marsh/flooded timber is my favorite but since we don't see much of that down here I stick to small (8-11 acre) tanks that are close to larger bodies of water.
Those ducks pile into those feeder ponds looking for a quick meal and time to rest up away from the pressure.

The best places that i hunted was an bay that was slitly frozenand still some unfrozen water we end up killing 15 ducks and 5 were bannded and we also locked the keys in the truck and was stuck for 5 hours

I like hunting big water my favorite is Big Stone lake in the end of October through November. Just amazing duck shooting those itmes. Other wise I like hunting some of the bigger wildlife area sloughs the ones that are like 1/4 to 1/2 a mile right on a point jutting out into the water. You can't beat a good big water spot in my opinion set out the bluebills and cans and just sit back and let em come in. UUURRGGHHH!!! I can't wait for season.

Hey I have A.D.D and A.D.H.D but the best spot that I hunted in was an cornfield that was flooded last winter and never dried up we shot so many mallards an green and blue wing it would make your head spin
