Default a new hunter

Hey. My name is Joel and I am a new member. I have been hunting deer, turkey, and pheasant for years but have only hunted geese once. (Turkey hunting is my favorite.) I got one. I would like to get into waterfowl hunting but dont know a whole lot about it. I would appreciate if some experienced hunters would tell me some tips and secrets of your success. If others would like to trade info I am pretty knowlegable in turkeys. Well just thought I would give this a try.

Joel,

Welcome!

First off, I'd buy a couple of books on duck hunting to get familiar with the different kinds of ducks and how to rig decoys for them.

Depending on where you'll be hunting ducks, you may or may not need a boat.

You'll need a good pair of waders.

You'll need a good duck call. If you haven't blew a call before, you'll need some instruction tapes.

Feel free to email me with any questions.........

And I'm new to turkey hunting.....drew my permit for the April hunt here in AR. I have decoys and calls but I have never hunted turkeys before.

I know where some turkeys are.........
