Default awesome day in NY

heres a pic of a nice mixed bag me and the ol man got today. 4 mallard drakes ,4 hens, 2 blacks and a big ol canadian. there were THOUSANDS of birds flying today. the sky was black with geese, most of em landed about 70 yds out (too far).
we were using hevi-shot 6's and 4's for the first time and the birds were dropping like rocks! good ammo.

i also got a twofer---2 ducks one shot , and when they dropped about 5 feet apart they almost landed on my dad! it was pretty funny. all in all, it was a GREAT day!

Great day! Congratulations!
It's nice to see a father-son team. Keep sending the photos.

heres a shot of my dad and my buddy colby yesterday.. this is the bay on the hudson that we hunt. My father had a blind in this spot 40 years ago, ours is built on the same foundation..pretty cool.
thanks for looking!
ps -my father managed to fall out of the canoe 3x in 2 days--his nickname is "polar bear" now....
