Messed up call
I just bought a bir river double reed duck buster call im not a very good caller but listen to this i was blowing on it and it just stopped, now i have to blow really hard for it to make a sound anyone know what happend.

Sounds like you need to take it apart, something is under the reed. It could be any sort of debris. If you are afraid to take it apart try blowing in it backwards. that will sometimes free the reed up. Or it may take a sharp rap on the end you blow into. If this does not work then just pull the barrel out being careful to not pull the reed out without checking its exact position and lift the reed. I'll bet you will see some debris or dirt under the reed.
