New lucky duck decoy chewed up....

Default New lucky duck decoy chewed up....

just bought this decoy and ups delivered it and a dog chewed up the box and got into it i cut off the long strips that are just dangling there think it will still be alright to use?

You can repair that - and I bet the dogs name is "No-No Bad Dog!

Add a bit of paint and trim the bill and you are good to go. I have decoys looking worse than that and use them.

i trimmed the bill pretty much flat and just use a paint thats pretty close to the green on his head?im just scared it will cause ducks to flare maybe

it still spins and everything and no i dont know whats wrong with my dog when hes inside he listens very well and then when hes outside he goes crazy most of the time im not home the boxes werent outside for more than 10 mins maybe

You should just use the decoy and forget the repairs. It's the spinning motion that draws ducks in.


What you should do with the dog is another story......... A long story.
