FINALLY - Some Bling

After some 33 years here in the N.E. corner of WA, I finally got a banded duck.
On the westside of WA, bands aren't as uncommon ( probably due to where the birds are banded ? ), but here on the eastside, they are pretty rare.

Location 7 E OF MIRROR, ALBERTA, CANADA

When we cleaned this bird, we found two pellets that had been in him quite awhile.
They were well encapsulated with scar tissue.

Congrats!!!!!!!! Like JW said, if it ain't too bad, they look good on the wall with some bling to show off!!!
Must the time for jewelery. My buddy killed a double banded honker yesterday off the river up by Peoria Il. First band in awhile for him as well. Me, I am over 3 years dry for one.
