Default Early seasons...to hunt or not to hunt?

Just a point to ponder or give input on.

A coworker of mine told me that he never hunts the early " apartment duck" season. He said that die hard duckhunters only hunt the late season.

Personally, when I caught the bug for waterfowling I found that I couldn' t get enough. I like the early season as well as the late one.

What do you all think?

I think the early season is a great time to take a new hunter.

True diehard hunters will be out every chance they get. Hot or cold.

Nothing wrong with the early season. I hunt it all the time.

I hunt early Teal season and dove season. I do not hunt early goose seasons. It' s just too hot and goose hunting is a lot of decoy work...too much crap to carry, etc. It' s hard on the dogs to haul the big birds in that heat, too.

Apartment ducks? WTF? Teal are about the LEAST " domesticated" of all ducks.

As for " diehards," I don' t know ANY diehards that don' t hunt early seasons. We used to sit in swimming trunks, old tennis shoes, and a camo T-shirt and kill Teal in the swamps of East Texas in 100 degree heat with Cotton Mouths and Alligators swimming around us. So let' s talk about " diehards." LOL
