We hunt Horicon Marsh and surrounding areas in Wisc. every year for the past 11 yrs and I use a 20ga. Rem. 11-87 Premier or a Browning Citori in 20ga. every year. I use Hevi-Shot 2's and 4's and Federal Ultra Shock 2's with a Briley Mod. and Imp. Mod. with great success.
I take a 12ga along just for the days if the weather is crap and I don't want the other guns muddy.

Gentlemen, I've edited this topic AGAIN. If the insults and rules violation continue, at least 2 or possibly more of you are going to get a time-out (temporary ban) and sent to your rooms. PM me if you have questions but stop insulting each other and violating the rules.

Of course you can shoot a Canada goose with a 20 gauge, I recently got a 20 gauge and have been getting lots of geese. It's all a matter of your shooting skills.
