Default Floating frame for Mojo

Hello, I am going to try to make a frame to float my Mojo's.One frame per Mojo. I am going with wood as a start up project, but may eventually go to aluminum.I am going to use other magnum decoys as corner floats. It will be 4 or 5 sided, not sure until I get out to the shop and start my fabrication.I will use some sort of plate to hold the tube that mojo slides into.I have a plastic coffee can filled with concrete and a couple chain links sticking out for my weight. I saw a young man that hunts up by Lake Erie with some of these a couple of years ago,he works in the quarry in Marblehead,Ohio. My boating partner and I had our boat over at his dad's house for storage.I only hunt small 8 acre lakes and ponds, and have a small boat also.Any ideas as I am going to start the design ASAP.I don't post much here, but I like to visit as much as I can,I like this site! Also I was wondering if any one would want to have a trade a hunt, the best down here is late season when lakes are frozen and we field hunt. Thanks ,Jim in Mansfield,[email protected]

Cabelas use to carry them, not anymore.
I built two myself and they wrok great. 1 decoy in front and 2 in the back with steel frame provide enough flotation.

My floating stand in on the left side of the front deck.

just a little bit on floating mojo stands... if you get any type of wind and waves your mojos wings will hit the water. Good if its a light hit, bad if it hits hard. What you're going to have to do is find the right balance of length and width of your platform with visibility of the platform. running a small plastic keel down the middle of the floats will help keep your mojo pointed in the right direction.

Using a 3 decoy setup like mine keeps the setup always pointed into the wind.
Never had an issue with wings hitting the water in windy conditions.

Check Ureaduck.com They have an H-bar they use when shooting seaducks. They have videos that might give you some ideas.
