You're gonna love it, great call. I remember when I first got mine, use some light trap/dove loads to break the gun in at first. I don't remember a specific #, but take a few days and shoot your heart out

My son talked me into buying the Beretta Xtrema 2. Nice gun plus it has the Kick-Off feature which reduces the 3.5 kick. Really does reduce the kick. Great waterfowl gun. It shoots 2 3/4, 3 and 3.5 shells. Highly recommended.

I think the benelli inerta system and the beretta gas are the best. I use a beretta xtrema 2 now and have not had 1 jam in 2 seasons. NOT 1 ???? that is excellent. I had a mossberg 935 prior to that, and it was the biggest piece of garbage I ever used. I sent it back 2 times. The 2nd time I got it back, I sold it without even trying to use it.
I would highly advise not to use mossberg 935's for waterfowl.
Turkey yes. when you usually dont need reliability for multiple shots.

You'll love your new Benelli!!! I bought one 4 years ago and use it for waterfowl, pheasants and turkey. I have not had a single problem with it and its worth every dollar I paid for it.

if your wallet can stand it benelli or winchester sx3. if u don't have to have 3 1/2" then the stoeger 2000 is the best for the money. i have owned, shot and hunted with alot of different shotguns. Benelli/stoeger line of guns are the toughest by far. i have a super black eagle II a stoeger 2000 and a super nova and all are very good guns

They say that you will be happy with most "B" guns. From my personal experience: Stoger -takes a very long time to get parts (6 month on Stoger Supreme), Beretta usually caries parts for guns that are currently in production. 3-4 years out production and it's h SOL to find parts (Beretta Pintal, ES-100) what I would do I would get extra set of springs for your Benelli as they should be inexpensive in case you ever need the. Same apply to Russian SPR453 and other imported brands - pain in the neck to find parts. Look like Browning and Remington keep better parts inventory (IMO) i have coupld friends with BBE and the love it. Another friend loves Urika 2. You just have to make sure gun fits you well...
