I just bought a new kayak and was thinking of using it this winter to duck hunt in florida. Anyone every done this before...

Nope....not going to either......the thought of floating along in the swamp with my head bumping the mud and coontail doesn' t appeal to me at all.

I have never used a kayak, but here in South Carolina, we use alot of one man boats. These things will get you into some pretty good " safe havens" for ducks where you cant get a jon boat. The only thing is, that I have a hard time going waterfowlin' without my dog. Im tryin to fab up a platform for him to sit on for the one man boat.

where ya goin keep the birds u shoot? on a stringer and dangle them off the side like fish? what if the recoil swamps ur boat? lol

I did, it works well, just camo your boat and yourself and attach some sticks and stuff to the boat and its great! in my kayak it has storage areas for waterfowl.
