I'm hunting geese still who's jealous?
We had to work for the birds on the first day. Unfortunately wekilled onlyignorant geese which will only make the future tough for everyone else.[8D] We shot eleven that day, and it's been slowthe last two dayswith the only flyers durring the morning hours before the sun gets high in the sky. The next few days look to be better weather wise.
Sure is dying off in here, who's still grindin them? This area has a ten day season for geese begining March 1st. It's to help curb the resident population but we've been seeing a ton of migrators working north so now, before we yell "Cutt em" someone has to ask thebirdsifthey're from around here[8D]

I wish Illinois would have our nusince season in march, ours is in sept. and it's hard to killem with the only grain down is winter wheat. Good luck, kill as many as you can, whats your daily limit?

I'm jealous! We haven't been able to goose hunt since the end of Jan. We don't have a resident season until Sept because of all the migrant birds still around.
I have noticed more geese still around than most years.
