Why would anyone even think of it? It's not at all what duck hunting is all about, much less being illegal.

You should not hunt waterfowl. Pick a differnt sport that does not include equiptment the can kill others. I sure hope you were joking. shooting a duck with a rifle is on the same level as shooting a sitting duck. no one who shoots a sitting duck can call himself a sportsman.
