I do alot of duck hunting in the farm land and big lakes areas north of Detroit Lakes. If you time it right, the late fall migration hunting can be outstanding, but the last few years have been terrible to say the least. All the potholes and smaller lakes froze up before the last weekend in Oct. last year. Maybe this year we' ll have a normal fall.

I hunt most of my ducks in the lake traverse big stone lake region. I do a little duck huntin south of Clinton also. But mostly in the the area around Ortonville, Browns Valley, Graceville, and up to Wheaton where I live I try to stay in that little square area. There are only 4 areas of private property I duck hunt on and the rest I just use public land.

I hunt geese, ducks, pheasants, deer and turkeys near Rochester, Pine Island, Kenyon and Wanamingo. I hunt bear near Banning Junction. If any body wants to hook up on a Rochester goose/duck hunt let me know.
