Default Noisy MOJO!!!!

This may have been discussed and I have missed it, but my mojo makes a hell of a ruckus sometimes on the water. Lots of vibration and chattering--

Does anyone have a quick fix to help quiet the wings--I like to think that this is why ducks don't like me [:-]if I can get this fixed then I will be GTG

Thanks

I've had this problem too....it's not all the time, it's usually pretty quiet. But once in a while it will be dead silent, and then the mojo will just start to chatter and shake a little. But only one of ours does it. I'd also be interested in any tips anyone has.

Make sure the wings are tightly fastened, are in the socket straight, and are not bent. If they are even slightly off balance they'll make all kinds of noise. I have found the big mojos to be noisier than the baby mojos.

Thats because the standard mojo's wings are aluminum and the baby's are plastic. The aluminum wings make vibration with the harmonics of the motor, whereas the plastic wings wont.

See thats strange because the one of ours that does it is a baby mojo, with the plastic wings. We have a regular mojo that we replaced the aluminum wings with homemade wings made from material almost the same as the baby mojo's. And that one really isn't noisey. Would new wings for the baby do the trick?

The corrogated wings shouldnt make any noise as long as their tight in the socket of the motor. Only thing left is the motor on the baby mojos...
