Just want to say thank you to those of you that support me on my qwest to find a guiding job. I have been looking and asking and I have 23 offers as of today. And they are all over the States. And to those who laugh at me let me ask you something, is it still funny?

Well I think that if a person is good at what he does and is happy doing it, then the customers will return, then you wouldnt have a problem paying bills.

Texas could use some guides like that, for dam sure!! Cause down here, we have too many skeptics, that try to make fellow hunters feel inferior with their so called "VAST KNOWLEDGE" of duck hunting, calling and guiding... Yeah Right, tell someone else that LIE, and then ask YOURSELF if its funny cause an out of state duck guide is taking your customers away because of attitudes like those in particular posts within Hunting.net.... Brad Hansen.... I say GO FOR IT!!!

Yeah Buddy!!!

I know this subject is long over but here are a couple of hints. You will last longer if you have a good amount of capital (cash) to back you and if you understand that you're mixing business with pleasure. Meaning its now your business to make sure others have a pleasure hunting. We would all love to hunt everyday but its a lot harder to pay the bills doing it than one would think. I think thats why there were some hahaha's before. Remember you will be going in the business of customer service, not hunting. What pays is making the customer happy, it doesn't matter if they get a limit or get skunked, they have to walk away happy with the desire to come back and come back with friends. Good luck and if you enjoy your work while working hard to please, the customer will see it and appreciate it.
