Every time we used a mechanical duck they would flare out. When we use a mechanical goose they would often work in. The wing speed is the key as well as the size. Mechanical geese have a much slower wing speed and not as much flash. That works for us up here in Illinois. Later in the season you have to turn it off when they get close.

Yep, they work on and off for us. If it ain't workin on, we'll switch it off and see how that works.
