Default Anyone ever see this?

We hunt with about 4 RC-MoJo's in our flock of about 50 duckdecoys. We also put out about 2 dozen Goose decoys. If we get geese coming over to check out our setup, they will flare away if our MoJo's are turned on. We had this happen on 3 seperate occasions. When we turned them off, the geese came in everytime. This happen to anyone else?

Absolutely. Geese, especially over water for whatever reason, always shy away from those things in my part of the world. Up in the land of plenty (canada) them boys on TV shoot geese all the time with the mojo ducks going... but of course you can only miss a goose over a flashing decoy so many times before he starts to put two and two together.

Yeah it's pretty common where I hunt also. We have our mojo rigged up with remotes to turn them off when geese are working.

We can't use remotes in MN so I rigged up my lucky duck soI can turn it on and off just for this reason. Geese around here also just hate spinning wing decoys.

Most of the time the geese shy away from it. On two occasions though they have not even cared. One we were hunting mallards in a corn field and we had our goose spread out with the mojo and a flock of geese dive bombed use. then last year we were hunting the river and 5 big canadas came in and almost landed before they were killed. but most of the time they tend to shy away from it.
