Default Kent Matrix Shotshells

Anybody else pattern this, I find that through a modifed choke it throws a wide pattern, much more than say Kent Fast Steel BB and leaves many holes in the pattern. What do ya'll think, can go tighter than modified, or look into a Carlson's extended.

Consider it lead

When I use it , I use a Improved Mod , Lite Full or Full choke depending on the load

A few years back I lucked into a case of each , 3.5" #3and 3.5" #1loads and for next to nothing
Talk about duck and goose murder

Yep, its soft just like lead is, and is actually about the same density. I have several boxes of it squirreled away that I shoot through my older fixed constriction guns.

Personally I think it hits harder than hevi-shot.

As to patterns... just gotta find what works.

At 5.00 a shot it makes me sick to waste it on patterning, but 10.00 pattering IM and Fullwill save me in the long run I guess. I was impressed with the regular kentfaststeel BBpattern with modified. All of my patterns were toohigh though, so I need to order a larger fiber optic front sight to push the barrel down, that will be an Champion Easy Hit 5 inch, need to decide on color GREEN or RED. Thanks guys.

Yeah.... I bought 20 gauge 3" 1 1/8oz #3s. Mostly for Rebecca to shoot geese with... but the old double gun might see some more action I like to take it out and frustrate myself every so often.
