Teal are cool because they are such agile flyers, but there too easy.

My favs are pintail and widgeon. Both are good-sized ducks that are not too big to lose their agility in the air. I love ' em all, but a flock of pinnies diving the dekes from God knows how high up with the air rippin' through their wings, then changing direction on a dime is a what waterfowling memories are made of. Wigeons are usually easier, but have the same steep-dive approach and agility.

Oh that is tough for the table: cans, mallard & teals. For looks: wood, cans, mallards and pintails.

Ugliest duck: Daffy

For the table, I would have to say that it would be teal or woodduck. As far as shooting, I' m a sucker for a big green head cupping his wings into my decoys.
