I'm with Boudreax, I'd like to see you slingshot a firecracker 100yards. Actually ... you'd have to slingshot it more than that to get it on the other side of the gaggle. Otherwise they'd fly off AWAY from you.

22-250? That's how MOST of these guys that have all the bands around their necks get them. (That's not an accusation of you, TexasGeese. So don't lambast me.<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>)

Most GW's would let you get away with a lot during the conservation order time.

Matt- why do that when you can just mine the field with small explosives. Then when the geese land to feed and walk around they will set off the explosives. Or you could place explosives that send shrapnel in all diffrent directions and will kill everything in a 30 foot radius of each device. This will give you a higher percentage of kills by far than shooting a firecreacker with a slingshot.

I'm thinkin... I'm thinkin...

Set up a spread.

If there's no cover then buy a layout blind.

Hunting is a sport, don't try to take that away from it.

I don't know about where you are from but in california they would probably try to find something wrong with it.

Its not worth doing unless its done right.
