Default Ohio migration reports, you see'n ducks?

Hello all.

I have just returned from a great Christmas in the Smokies and was wondering what was happening in Ohio with migration.

Is anyone seeing wings in central or southern Ohio?

Thanks,

Bob

Bob,
about a week ago, I would have said yes, but after the last two days the duck hunting has not been good. I hunted Sun. in central Oh. and only seen one small and one large flock of geese. yesterday I hunted just inside the southern zone in north/central Oh. and seen very few ducks. Also the Hunters I spoke with on the launch ramp all said that since x-mas they have had very little luck.

good hunting,

Ron

I hunted at Delaware yesterday and saw close to 400 ducks! I think that maybe I was in the right place at the right time.

Good Luck with the Duck!

This message has been read 35 time to date. I thank the other 2 poster's for thier input.

What the heck is wrong with the rest of you? Do you only help yourselves? Why not put in some info with good results or bad? It is a shame that you all want to keep them for yourselves.

Still, Good Luck with the Duck!

This wont help you but I will give you a little info. I saw an aerial photo that was taken last friday of Lake st.clair, there was an estimate that there was a raft of divers out there that numberred 180,000(that is in one raft). There is only ice for about a half mile off shore right now, expecting bitter cold starting friday and it will freeze up,, so get ready!!

Detroit river is loaded with geese and more mallards than you can shake a shotgun at!

Thank you all. I will be ready for them this weekend! We have been seeing large numbers of ducks and geese in Grove City just soth of Columbus. Most of the geese are probably locals, however I am sure some are migrating.
