Default "milk jug" decoys

I've heard about guys using milk jugs as a "filler" for their decoy spread. My question is, how do you paint the jugs to match different species of birds. I would like to give this a try and see what happens. Thanks.

My dad's done this before except he used 2L pop bottles. He just painted themblack, and the bluebills dove right in, and he didn't even have any real deke's, just 6 or so black pop bottles.

I think it depends on what your spread is supposed to mimic. Some guys use "clorox" bottles to help fill out a spread of snow goose decoys.
