Are snipe going to count for the contest as well... BC has a season on snipe along with ducks and geese

I would imagine if a bird is legally "water fowl" in a State or Province, it would be eligible for the contest.
EG; Sandhill cranes arelegal game here along with coots and snipe while swans are not. This is the reverse in some other places.
I may be wrong though.

Just my opinion. But really dont think snipe should be included. For my info do they migrate? Has anybody ever found a way to make them taste like anything other than mud.

dove migrate, and they sometimes can be found near water...you want to count them as well?

as a matter of fact snipe are waterfowl and they migrate and if they taste like dirt no offense but you need to learn how to cook

Snipe really? someone would actually fire a $1 a round at one of those,, too each his own..

I guess im just going too have too kill 6 bbills a day a couple times a week! and yes 6 is my daily limit, and they make great jerky!

Hey Saulthunter,

Give me a good recipe for snipe cause they are thick. The old wrapped in bacon and BQued made them taste like hog layin in mud. But then again im not much of a cook. But ican make a duck taste decent.
