Default Weather concerns for upcoming Mid West season?

I'm getting nervous down here in Southern Illinois. No rain to speak of over the past few months, and we need some water in our lease (normally flooded bottomland). We do have a "hole" with approx. 2 feet in front of the blind, but the pit is high and dry. Anyone else in the same predicament? Season opens in 20 days!

I don't live in Illinois, but I do live in North Texas. We are going through a drought. All the lakes are down at least 7 ft, and all the ponds and holes are all dried up. Not many ducks right now but if we get some rain and a few cold fronts, then we will be good to go.

I live in southeast Oklahoma and we havent had any rain in a long time. Theres not than many ducks down yet, and the only place with water is the river. It is also still 80 degrees outside our season opens tomorrow !!!!!!!!!!!

Up here in Southeastern Wisconsin, out on Horicon Marsh it is down toabout 2 feet. Need to push pole to get to the spot that I want. It sucks, but I cant let the season slip by me. Gotta get out there and get some birds.
