3 more geese and 2 mallards

A right team, Saturday is the opener. I bought some widgeon dekes, along with my mallards , a couple pintails and some duck butts and sleepers and some field. I take the field and tack them to a log in the pond we hunt. ducks love it. It sould be a great opener. I will be out on sat. my son and I on sunday. Scouted for geese a couple of miles away and found some using a green wheat field. Hopfully we can get some geese in the late morning. Good luck guys. Lets get the numbers up. Doug ;o)

Allright guys, opening day:
1greenwing, 1 hen mallard,
Low numbers but it will get better. By the way, do Snipes count? got 2.

I got 2 buffleheads and 1 drake Mallard. These are locals, nothing from the north yet.

Oh I forgot, 1 bluewing teal also.

Add 1 teal and 1 shovler. Ouch.

I posted on the contest scores thread..This is a duplicate to insure we get our counts right. Add 1 mallard that came into my goose spread..no geese though...yet.
