You can be the "Captain" goosehunter22. Nate and I will go out this weekend. Sept 10,11. Thats our early goose season. It is about 80-85 degrees and dry and dusty. Maybe we can find them. We don't get going again until Oct. 15.through Jan31,06. Just bought a new laydown blind.
Can't wait.

Hey, its funny around here, the farmers won't let you chase pheasants or quail or deer, but mention geese they say "kill every one of those son's a xxxxx"s. I got permission on around a 30 by 30 mile area. ya baby.

ducks is ducks, we don't have a permit season here in the west, at least in Washington.D

When ducks, geese and tundra swan take residance in ponds year round they (DNR) will issue permits.

Our early season was a bust. Nothing flying and the waterholes are almost all dry this year. Waiting for the 15 Oct. Will keep you posted. Doug and Nate
