now is that carrying or story telling? there is a big differance in size when it comes to those subjects.
anything i have to tote out of the marsh is big.
not really sure, ive put them on my duck strap before and they still drag on the ground, that poundage sounds about right though.

My largest was 17# and 18# respectively. They were both shot at the same time in Mont. Co, Md. I thought they were huge, but from some of the post, maybe not so. Our average would be about 7-11#. I still thought they were big. FYI they are at the taxidermist as we speak.. Good Luck. Capt Brad.

A common size for geese around here early season is about 10-17lbs. Later in the season when the EPB flight comes down the size varies from 7-16 lbs. The biggest one we got this year was 15.5
