Managed to get Photoshop CS4 though I have no clue how to sharpen my images.

remington girl; when you open your photo shop,do you notice a small arrow on the right hand side of the photo shop window? If you do,click on it. This will give you a quick fix option. One of the tools is for sharpen. You can let the program choose the settings or you can do it manually.

I use Photoshop,Corel Paint Shop X and Corel Graphic Design Pro. Just started using Photoshop last year,so I got some learning to do with this program. Bought it for some features Corel didn't have.

Awesome photos!How did you keep the butterfly in colour?
Take a color photo,mask the area you wish to stay colored,then covert image to grayscale(8bit).

Why silly girl. With the masking tool of course! LOL Another way of keeping selected subjects original while altering others is by Layering. The next question I would like to ask,how much experience do you have with photoshop.
