If I can get some footage this year, I would gladly submit it for use. My name is John Brack, and I live in Montrose, MI. I hope to get in a lot of deer hunting in, plus fall turkey. I may be able to have footage edited before submission if that makes it easier.

ebay for all cables. Crazy cheap compared to what the retail stores want to rob, er I mean sell them to you for.

Filming a whitetail hunt on 9/15 in Maryland then filming for whitetails in Missouri 9/17-9/22. Got a little bit of some Maryland resident goose footage this past Saturday, 5 geese killed. Hope to get more soon.

I can't get through to anyone from HNI about using the name and stuff.

I could sell the DVD on my website www.filmingtheoutdoors.myfreeforum.org and we could name it what everyone wants.

then mabe next year we all start a team and make DVDs every year.. how does that sound?

Just a word of advice when capturing footage............always better to use 1394 IEE firewire than USB 2.0..........firewire is slightly faster and you will never get dropouts as long as your deck heads are clean........USB is notorious for dropouts.

Always use firewire IEEE 1394 guys...Longbuster is right

Ok guys...we have alot of things to discuss and a ton of work to try and put this together. Chase has a great idea here...but I'm tellin ya...the fact that we're in all parts of the US will make this hard...If we stick together we should be able to figure this out...

The way I view this ....Cutting the video is the least of our worries...organizing, creating, selling, documentation, these are the things that will challenge us....its not like we can meet for coffee and discuss our next steps...I see alot of transition and communication needed ...email just doesn't cut it.

My Plan in the months to come:

On Sept. 18th. I'm going to capture a doe kill here in Michigan. I'll be running full wireless mics and prof. Vid with my AG-DVC 30.

I will be using a wide variety to produce video. I am a solid bowhunter...but ...My videos will show success with Pistol, Shotgun, Traditional Archery...as well as compound. My video set will not only be bow kills. I hope the rest of the group is not only bow only...we need to create variety...! Be sure to show your real emotions in the video...don't act...have fun!

I still need to give chase a call....I'll be in touch with you guys....

I'll be working some magic...I'll be in touch!
