I would love to get a nice digital camera with a powerful zoom to start taking wildlife photos. I have been looking around and many of the cameras are in the thousands. Is there a solid camera with a powerful zoom for under one grand?

I know it is not anything professional but, I like my new Kodak Z650 with a 10 power zoom and a camera doc. I can print my Kodak pics that Iwant to print. I also purchased a 55mm lens that allows me to have a 20 power zoom. The most I need to do now is get used to all the settings so I can get some better quality pics. I will soon be getting a polarized lens for it as well. For someone like me it makes a good beginners camera.
