For videoing bowhunts I use two cameras.....

Sony HVR-Z1U
Sony PD170

Both are set up with the same acc.

Bogen 501 fluid head
Manfrotto 523Pro remote control handle
Sennheiser ME66 Shotgun mic
Sennheiser Wireless mics(can`t remember the model number right now)[]
SuperArm tree arm

Plus lots of other silly little gadgets that you just can`t live without.

As a professional videographer I use a multitude of toys and equipment but most of the time it depends on whether I'm doing it for money or for fun! If it's for fun I'm using a Canon XL2 w/20X lens, Bogen 503 fluid 75mm ball tripod head, Varizoom VGL Pro Lanc Zoom/Focus control and also I've built a 12VDC powered motion control so I can sometimes build my system on the ground 'Away' from my treestand to pick up a different angle of action. Then I use a 3X wide angle lens with an extra 100' long control lanc controlvcable for zoom/stop control. When shooting for the money I also use a 12' jib with a complete remote head and a dolly w/ 20' of track for 'movement' shots and continuous motion. But then of course I've been doing this for 20 years and these are just a little bit of my toys that I use for some hunting stuff.......My audio is mostly Senheiser shotguns and wireless with a couple of Shure's thrown in ..........

right now i use a Sony DCR-HC21. Nothing fancy by a long shot. I cant afford spending to much money on good video equipment unless this was what i was going to do for a living.....which i am totally open too at the moment since i am still in school, and am contemplating switching to video production.......

Canon XL2, Bogen/Manfrotto 503, Varizoom VGL Pro Lanc Control, Steddy Eddy, 20' skate wheel dolly/track, 12' ProAm Jib w/ PL 20 2 axis control Remote Head, Adzen WMS 100 wireless audio....... alot of this stuff is for 'studio' style shooting to give some of my video a 'film' look----interviews & stuff like that. But I also rent it to different production companies for other things too.
