    Default Pheasant hunting in N.D.
    I'm from N.J. & would like to hunt for wild pheasant. From what I here North Dakota is the place to be. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
    I would entertain the idea of hiring locals if any are interested.

    Are you taking dogs with you? Everyone I spoke with on the plane had success in most places this year. Minot north of Bismarck and Mott south of Dickinson had great reviews from hunters I spoke with last week while coming back from Montana.

    well, i would agree nd is the place for birds. the area around dickinson is great hunting land.

    Anywhere from Bismark west is good pheasant areas. I would agree to head near Dickenson. Good hotels and places to eat, lots of birds, great people.
