What load for phesants with a 12 ga.

Hi Nate, So you decided not to go with the 20 gauge?
You are going to get lots of different views on which load is the best and why.
I like to use #4, #5 or #6. Anything over #6 is going to be too small. And anything under #4 is to big. You only need 2 3/4. Remember that this is if you are using a 12 gauge.

Make sure you get what you want. If they don't have it, make them order it in. You were so set on the 20 gauge. If you can handle the 12 gauge, you will be happier in the long run. But if a 20 is all you can handle then stick with the 20.

i did want the 20 but every one says that they like like 12 and that their better all around and the 12 was the cheaper gun so im gettin the 12

4's for a 12ga? Nah i dont think so...Where i hunt u are not allowed to hunt with 4's, i reccommend 6' with a modified choke. That is what i use and it works well, beleive me i shot 40 pheasant last year.
