Here's a pic of the aftermath of a only an hour of fast and furious dove hunting in KS. I tell you, I felt like I was in Argentina for a little while. If I was a half-way decent shot I could have limited out easily during the first half an hour.
There were 2 other's that I couldn't find (we didn't have a dog with us) and I shot another on early that day making the day's total 11 birds, not too shabby

I'm new here and love upland bird hunting over a good dog.
Love pictures too.
Here are some pictures of my Brittany from years back. She has long ago died and a wheelchair now keeps me out of the field. But I have a lot of memories of good past hunts with a great dog and love to read your current stories and look at some great pictures.
...and I love to reminence
Here is a puppy point at 3 months

I was invited to hunt Pelee Island in Canada when Bridget was only 6months old What a trip! (Pelee Island is nothing but soybeans and pheasants)
She hated being told to sit and pose for pictures

I hand signaled her to the left. Right into some glass somebody had dumped in the field. This picture was taken after a high speed race to the Vet.

A late season hunt on snow in Michigan
